Academy (YSA) Enrollment/Lottery/Waiting List Policy
A. YSA shall enroll all eligible pupils who submit a timely
application unless the number of applications exceeds the capacity of a
program, class, grade level, or building.

charter authorizer.
E. If the remaining enrollment capacity is insufficient to
enroll all pupils who submit a timely application, YSA shall select pupils
through its waiting list process, except that preference shall be given to
siblings of a pupil selected through its waiting list process. All waiting lists are organized by date of
submission of the enrollment form to the YSA office and positions are offered
according to the date submitted. Student
positions are offered throughout the year, as positions become available
through the withdrawal of students or through normal attrition.
F. YSA is committed to a non-discriminatory admission
policy.

safety of pupils and staff.
